The Ottawa Mission and Dymon partnered this past Giving Tuesday on November 27th to raise needed funds to provide emergency and wraparound supports to the most vulnerable members of our community. After raising over $87,000 in 2017, the partners are pleased to report that they raised $137,000 this year, surpassing their goal by 44%
“We couldn’t have accomplished this remarkable fundraising success without the support of our partners at Dymon. At a time when charities are seeing a declining pool of individual donors in Ottawa, having a corporate partner that’s as committed to making our city better as Dymon is makes a world of difference. Their commitment played a key role in our ability to make Giving Tuesday 2018 the best performing fundraising day in our foundation’s history, and raise $137,000.” – Sean Wong, Executive Director, The Ottawa Mission Foundation.
“We thank the citizens of Ottawa and our Dymon employees who contributed to our Giving Tuesday partnership. They deserve the most credit for helping raise $137,000 in one day and enabling The Ottawa Mission to continue their outstanding and important work. Everyone at Dymon passionately believes the communities who are part of our success should benefit, which is why our partnership with The Ottawa Mission is close to our hearts. Its one of the ways we strive to make the neighbourhoods we call home stronger. – Brent Wilson, President, Dymon Group of Companies
