TOTAL 2,820,000 sq. ft.
In addition to the projects identified above, Dymon has other properties under negotiation across the Greater Toronto Region and is targeted to have in excess of 4.3 million of developable square feet by the end of 2017. These projects are all part of Dymon’s ten (10) year eighty (80) facility expansion program during which it plans to build over 10 million square feet of its industry leading storage facilities.
“Our Etobicoke location on The Queensway in Toronto will be the largest self storage facility in the world. This Dymon Superstore will be the ‘Bass Pro’ of the self storage industry”, said Brent Wilson, President of the Dymon Group of Companies. “Not only will it offer all of the industry leading features that our customers have become accustomed to, but it will also offer executive suites, an expanded retail store offering a wide array of storage containers and organization systems, a state-of-the-art wine storage facility with a full-time sommelier on staff, and an advanced trucking and moving logistics network with full pick-up and delivery service”.
Dymon offers its business and residential customers a totally unique storage solution unlike anything else offered in the marketplace. In the City of Ottawa, Dymon now controls 80% of the storage industry with 99% occupancy. It has also experienced the fastest lease-ups of any large-scale developments in the industry.
“We’ve dramatically changed the entire concept of storage and have put a tremendous focus on improving and enhancing the experience of our customers”, said Wilson. “We have become a very secure, dependable and cost-effective extension of people’s homes and businesses.”
All of Dymon’s facilities offer full climate and humidity control, 24/7 access with extended retail hours and overnight surveillance, drive through bays where customers can be protected from weather conditions, a free truck with driver on move-in, and free contents insurance for coverage up to $25,000.
“With unique services like DymonShred (a drop-off shredding service), DymonDoc (a unique customer-managed file archiving and retrieval system), DymonMine (an on-line marketplace to buy and sell items), DymonBox (an eco-friendly plastic bin rental alternative to traditional cardboard boxes), and DymonMoves (a professional in-house moving service available to customers who wish to enhance the move-in experience), we are continually responding to our customer needs” said Wilson. “With all of our ancillary services and our unique selection of new products, Dymon offers more than just storage.”
